pretty much a crapshoot at 10 days. It is not very accurate at all. However, 7 day forecast have become a lot better in recent years and five day forecasts are I believe 75% accurate.

It does depend on where you live and the time of year, most of the time they will look to where the weather is coming from.... in the US typically west of where they are forcasting for and try to "guess" when that weather will reach their area. If i had to place a percentage on it i would say about 80% accurate, it gives you a general idea of the weather but cannot predict disruptions yet unseen or how long storms will take to disipate

It all depends upon where you live. But 99.8% of the time the weather will change before that day is even soon to arrive. Weather is bipolar! It's always best to check the weather the night before. But in the case of planning events it becomes rather difficult and unpredictable. I would say take your best guess, and GOOD LUCK!
