Basic Paypal accounts are free and may be opened at https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_registration-run . The registration is SSL encrypted and all information is securely transferred and stored. There are no fees for transactions made by transferring from your bank account to your Paypal account (which is instant), but you can not accept credit card payments without upgrading to a Premier account, which causes you to lose a small percentage of accepted payments.

Log on to www.paypal.com and fill in the necessary details. The FAQ section has all the answers to a layman's queries. As far as I am aware, there are no charges that are levied for opening a PayPal account.

No initial charges to open an account with paypal. Log on to www.paypal.com and fill in the asked details. if you have any more doubts, click FAQ. you must have an e-mail ID. if you want to upgrade your account, you have to pay something.

U can open u r account through u r HDFC UTI Or ICICI Debit card.(Visa).......u need to register u r card with proper information provided by Paypal.com there is no charges for opening u r account but they will reduce u r money when u transper from paypal to u r bank a/c through u r registered email(yahoo,rediff....)

You will love Paypal. They even have an agreement with Equifax that wlll give you free protection on your credit reports, if someone ever stole your identity, no matter where they stole it from.
