When it forces me to step back and finally listen to what God keeps trying to tell me to do. Sometimes I forget to listen to Him, and uncertainty is a sign that I need to "be still and know".

Uncertainty is your friend those moments before the gun reports and the race begins. It's your friend when the character in the movie opens the door and neither of you know what's on the other side. But most importantly, uncertainty is your friend when there is a lingering certainty that what you don't know won't kill you.

when you are worried something might not have gone well- an audition- or a meeting- uncertainty is a friend :-P you can trick yourself that you have a chance you didn't blow it :)
no, more seriously- uncertainty is part of life, and exploration... I Can't say whether it's a friend and/or when- it's just part of life...
