So I go to a private school in California. There are quite a few special ed. and students with learning disabilities there. We have a new kid in my class that I don't know what he has but when he gets frustrated he gets VERY violent with teachers and he throws and breaks things. He is a very big and tall and taller than the teacher and most of the staff so when he has an episode it's pretty hard to stop him. He recently had a really big episode and flipped over a desk and threw chairs and punched the director of the school. He was gone for about ten days and then the director had said he will be returning with new medication to handle his anger and frustration. He has been back for about three days now and I am very nervous. He has been on the breaking point of another episode even with the medication. I am very nervous around him. How can I confront this issue with the director who has ignored the posibilities several times? I am gonna look for a new school. What should I do for now?

That's a tough situation. I would tell your director exactly how you feel about it and why you're looking for a new school. It sounds like you can be honest about it without coming across as attacking or anything--you're just concerned about your own safety. One thing with private schools is that capitalism drives them, so by you leaving (or at least planning on leaving) it should really tell your director that he needs to change what he's doing or he's going to loose more business.
For right now, besides talking to the director, the only suggestion I can give is to sit as far away from him as possible, and if you have a seating chart and are sitting close to him to tell your teacher your concerns and ask to be placed elsewhere.

Talk to your parents.
