No I am not a fan. In order for me to be one, I would have to stay on one subject forever and I don't like to answer that way. Also it seems to me that almost all of the top contributors are from poll and surveys where a lot of answers are yes and no, silly (that's fine with me), answered with a sense of humor. I would prefer that someone would be recognized for helping people or for having answers to problems.

Yeah I like it! I don't like going through the answers to a question though and like 20 other people are "top contributors" too.

not really, i have sympathy for people who have less of a life than I do, I have a question, do you wear diapers when you answer questions like the astronaut that drove across country in a diaper to avoid bathroom breaks. do you poop in your diapee as well? It doen't mean you have more knowledge or anything, it just means you sat on your butt longer and answered more questions , you are bound to get a few best answers if you answer enough questions.

It was cool for a couple seconds. Then I saw that almost everyone here has it and it's not so special any more. Time to revolt.

It has its value. I tend to look at their answers to see if they are genuinely helpful. Many people ask serious questions and expect appropriate answers to help them.
