haha, I knew it. ok, so I see that it is China, but let me rephrase a bit. What country is the oldest in Asia, that has changed its name over a century, ago? Don't worry for all who is against giving answers to homework. This is merely helping, that I am curious to know the answer to.

India was a colony of England was it not? so we cant say it is India.

This is disputable no matter who you ask. I could argue china, Armenia or Japan. What defines a country's age? How long it has had it's current government? Japan; How old it's history is in any form? China; or how long it has been recognized as a country? Armenia. It is disputable without some strict guidelines.
