I have an ivory snail in my aquarium and well Pat (they're asexual) hasn't moved an inch for two days. She/ he did this two weeks ago and when I scooted she/ he with the net she/ he moved. Well...this time...nothing.

try checking if its still in its shell if it's in its alive if not I'm sorry

ivory snail? apple snail right? they're not asexual, there are male and female ones.

lift out your snail, have look and see if it's "lid" is loose, and if the snail STINKS to high heaven and makes you feel ill, then it's dead! dead snails really really honk, thats the sure fire way to tell if one is dead or not!

Sometimes snails just stay in one place for awhile, can you see if it has drawn back into its shell? If it has that may mean it is dead, or it may mean it got frightend by something. Don't give up on waiting to see just yet, wait a little while longer.

1 Take the fish out
2 bang it on the floor
3 If you hear it screaming 'noooooooo' , Yes its alive.
4 If not, have it for dinner

1: carefully pick up your pet snail
2:lick the mofo
3:if it tastes like mucous, yep hes dead
4:leave it in the middle of a busy road

maybe it' too old. once the body falls out of the shell, it's a goner. sorry. =(
