...to allow virtually any CD player to be able to recognize it and play? Specifically, if I have a .MP3 file and I want to convert this to an audio format that the vast majority of CD players will recognize, what is that format? Also, recommendations for a product that would convert MP3 files to this format?

Thanks!

Andy

Yes, perhaps that's true - but not on older CD players. I have foolishly tried to use MP3 CDs in older CD players - and it's no-go.

Burn the files to a CD as an audio CD (CDDA format) with Nero. I'm sure you won't have problem playing it on older CD player.

I think most cd players will play the .mp3 format as long as its not burned as an mp3 cd (50+ songs)
