I don't think we've lost him. I looked everywhere and found nothing. If it were true I would be verry verry sad, but I think we have nothing to worry about! Maybe he's just Trapped Under Ice somewhere or he's layed up with Whiplash.

human beings make jokes like that. Youtubers have been asserting "R.I.P James" simply by fact they theory he died. As for death Magnetic, it replaced into 5 years after St. Anger so his voice replaced into fading. in case you hear to the Black Album stay in stay overall performance you may hear his voice is back.

His wikipedia page doesn't say anything about him being dead. There's nothing on their official site about it and there's nothing on their official message board or their myspace page so it's most likely just a rumor.
