There is no such thing as too tall or too short. There is simply "you." You are above average, but not extremely tall. Either way, you've got to make the best of what you've got.
I hope that you aren't experiencing any kind of self doubts as a result of your height.

Naw, everyone's different anyways! I'm a guy at 5'5"... is that short for a guy (21 yrs old)? Yes! Do I care? Nope!
If you are ever concerned about it, look at the good things! For instance....
- You could be a really great womens basketball player
- You have the height of a beautiful model
- You can reach high items :-P
- Plus, 1000s of other advantages
Oh, also I was just watching a show today on TLC, and there was a woman that was 7ft7in!!!!!!!! So, at least your not that tall! :-D

Oh no way! Someday you really will be so happy you are as tall as you are. It means you can carry off more weight while still looking good. Plus as you age, people naturally shrink so you will be ahead of the game. Trust me! As awkward as you might feel now, being taller than other people can potentially be such an advantage in certain situations. It's harder for somebody to look down on you and yell at you if they are staring you right in the eyes! You really will appriciate being taller when you get older.

My daughter @ 17 was 5'11 & was in a size 8. The only thing was yrs. ago it was hard to find pants long enough, so she wore some mens jeans. She was healthy, not at all worried about it all. It's your DNA ... her dad was 6'6 & I am 5'8 ... It's better being tall than short. I asked her all the time to reach things for me... Be Happy Marie

My 13 year old is already 5'8". I personally hated being this tall when I was growing up, but after a while you get used to it and you grow to like it! :) No pun intended.

Sorry, but when I was 17 I was 5'10. Also, on the thin side which made me even taller. Didn't stop growing until I got into college. Finally height 6'0".

5 8??? not too tall ur lucki thats an awesomr height im 5 yrs younger than u and im a foot shorter!!!!!!!!!!! ur at a perfect height but u really shoudl like stay 5 8 as u grow older or shrink.... lolz

its not too tall...... i am 5'6" and i am 14 yrs and not done growing.... actually its nice to know that there are still some tall girls out there..... i am a girl and most of the girls i see like in the mall or whatever seem way shorter than me! so be happy wiht your tallness!
