Do you think people take advantage of this, not seeing or understanding the deeper meaning? Your views?

Once upon a time, it was considered a virtue to see yourself as a servant to those around you...And, if everyone was to hold such a philosophy in some regard, the world would be a better place for it......Oh well, guess i'm the last one....

I see myself not as a servant to other people specifically, but as a servant to humanity and the world.

No. I'm not a servant.
I don't need everyone to understand me, as long as I understand me.
I work for pay and understand my job, but i don't need my co workers or boss to understand my deeper me.
MY friends know me, but don't always understand me.
My husband and kids know me and sometimes they don't understand me, but they still love me.
That's all that matters.
