Kelo v. New London is still the hot topic in law. It's that eminent domain case from Conn. If you want a hot topic about lawyers, there are currently attempts to lessen the atty-client privilege. Not sure if I captured your question.

Well the decision by the court on the matter of a certain CIA agent.Must be worrying for a lot of people,including the president

Don't know any names, but I heard of a case where lawyers on both sides are being honest.
