How do you qualify for temporary rental assistance in NJ? When I was working and in school I needed extra help, even $100 a month for food. My rent was 990 a month and my income was about 900 a month. I had to make up a whole story for welfare. And I still didn't qualify. It’s like if you’re not on drugs and lazy they wont help you!! you have to manipulate the system to get any kind of help.

Also if anyone has information on that program that they help pay for your schooling I believe its call PIC program?

I don't know about the rental assistance in NJ.
But, you may be eligible for a grant. You can apply through the Financial Aide Department in the school or college you plan to attend.

You need a roomate. It is not up to others to help you with rent simply because you prefer to have a place to yourself. You will have plenty of time to have your own place once you are educated and in the working world. For now, you need to share the rent with someone.
