I am a christain and i still do believe that jesus has rasied from the dead but is this really going to so called ''change'' everything? It seems as if it is just for publicity and just to get on the news and be famous for a short while.

This film will not change Christians to atheists nor will atheists jump on this rapidly disintegrating bandwagon. Your instincts are absolutely on target - this was a publicity stunt - nothing more ... and my biggest disappointment is the Discovery Channel's involvement.

I am a Christian, a TV news photog for 15 years and my hobby is Biblical Archaeology. If you would like to really understand this and realize why there is no way that this is the tomb of Jesus Christ, I encourage you to read the article linked below by Dr. Jodi Magness ... a highly respected professor in Early Judaism at the University of North Carolina.

No, not at all - Christians are hard to convince otherwise. Usually a Christian family will have been Christian for generations, and besides, weren't they running it on Fox News? (Okay, maybe Fox News is a bit more credible than THAT, but how credible can it be to report on a certain deceased celebrity for weeks at a time?) It's the same gullible, naïve people who are moved by Anna Nicole Smith's "tragedy" that will be interested in this. Besides, you said yourself that you didn't believe it. I'm not saying that everyone thinks like you, but that should usually be you first clue on questions like this...

I doubt it's going to change beliefs. I'm also christian. I'm not changing my religion because of some news report. It's all about faith I guess.

No. I don't think many people actually believe it. I think it was just a slow news day so they came up with this.

No. The "discovery" was debunked before the special aired.
