It's from one of my favorite books - To Kill a Mockingbird. But how about a middle name to go with it?

I do not like Scout as a first name for a girl. I once had a horse named Scout.

Also remember that Scout was just her nickname in "To Kill a Mockingbird".

It's cute. I love that book too!
In the book, didn't they mention her middle name? That might work for you.

Or maybe:
Scout Elizabeth
Scout Patricia
Scout Beatrice

I think if it started with a 'b' of a 'p' it would sound best! Good luck!

I don't really care for it. I had a good friend that named their baby Scout. They said it was from the movie. I personally think of girl scout or boy scout. I think her middle name was Lee.

I like it. I always thought it was cute that the girl in To Kill a Mocking Bird was called Scout, even if it was a nickname. I think it could work.

i just thought about "To Kill a Mockingbird" and btw i believe scout was her NICKNAME, not her real name... because its not really a real name, sry.... you could call her that for a nickname though!

if you're set on it, how about Scout Marie, Scout Louise, Scout Catherine... idk those names dont really fit in with Scout, but seeing as how i dont know any other "unique" names to go with it... i think a nice middle name would be go thought because if she doesnt like Scout when she's older she can use her middle name....

As you will have discovered reading these responses, Scout is traditionally the name of an animal: a horse or a dog, or sometimes a Jeep; it is not, however, an appropriate name for a little girl. I urge you not to inflict this on your child.

It's okay. It is the name of one of Bruce Willis' & Demi Moore's daughter.

Scout Bailee
Scout Aspen
Scout Brinley
Scout Elise
Scout Cassidy
Scout Ciara
Scout Kellan

Scout Paige

Use it as a middle name. Or use Scout's real name, which was Jean Louise.

im sry but scout doesn't sound like a name let alone a girls name. i honestly don't think ne name would go good for a middle name.
