No, there is nothing wrong.

Brownish tint of blood is usually just due to increased oxygen exposure (like thin layer of dried blood you may have seen before on cloth or even your skin)

When you have a lower concentration of hemoglobin in the blood - which is completely normal during a period because the flow varies and it isn't all 'blood' anyway - there is less iron or 'heme' which is what gives blood its signatory red color.

Thus, many women - including myself - may begin, end, or have throughout their periods a brownish blood. Also, because you have just started, it will take your body time to become more regular in its flow concentration regulation, etc.

Now, if you see dark brown and only dark brown, you should probably call your doctor. Even then, it probably is nothing serious. It's important to remember that a period is a compilation of your uterus lining, materials breaking up the uterine lining, the blood from the breakage of the uterine lining and the various preparatory substances in the uterine lining which develop in case a fetus needs to grow and obtain nutrients.

so do not worry. If you need to worry, it will be something you obviously need to worry about (like all dark brown or maybe green or black coming out of you!). A period is a fascinating part of being a woman, and I hope I've helped a little.

It is very normal for your first periodtoturn brown. Your first period is a cleansing period. Your body has stored up old blood and that is why the blood turns brown. Perfectly normal. You have nothing to be concerned about. Word to the wise though, you might want to think about talking to your mom or another trusting female in your life

Nope. Totally normal. Sometimes it takes awhile for the blood to flow out and in the mean time it oxidizes and turns that brown color.

Have you ever gotten blood on cloth or noticed the back of a used bandaid, that's just the color blood turns when it's been exposed to oxygen for so long.

Yeah you shouldn't be asking us. go talk on your mom or an aunt or a grandma or instructor or something. you prefer pads or the blood will leak by using your pants and its extremely embarrissing have confidence me. in case you get it unexpectidly, positioned some lavatory paper on your underclothes and go away it there for some million or 2 hours then take it out and replace it. provided that this in all probability is your first era , you will in all probability basically have it for like 4 days. tremendously quickly you need to positioned on tampons as a substitute of pads yet use pads in the beginning up.

brown blood is totally normal especially since this is your first period. it usually means you are near the end of your flow. its old blood and sometimes comes at the beginning of your flow and then again at the end. be thankful yours was so short. i used to bleed five days straight and we're talking BLEED, blood clots included. any how not to worry
your next period will probably be a little livelier or if your luck holds, may all your periods be short and painless. perfecta

Nothing whatsoever! This is the normal progression of a period. It is brown becasue the flow is slowing down, leaving more time for it to catch to the air and turn colour. (atleast I believe that's why, but regardless, this is very normal)

It's very normal and just older blood from the lining of the walls of your uterus that's been there the longest and is being sluffed off last. Not to worry about a thing.

I would immediately head to the dr for a physical. Brown urine usually means something is wrong with your kidneys, or you could have a serious bladder infection. You mentioned that this was your first-ever period?? Either way, I would definitely get into the dr and get some blood and urine work done. Good luck to you!

this is a sign that you're near the end of your period. be aware that you can also see "brown blood" during the begining of your cycle as well.
