No, cops can't. Overall, a person has to prove theirselves to be a member, and a gang comes first. If you can't put the gang first...and that means over your job, wife, children, mother, father....then your not worthy.

That was really racist of that first person (lirtravia) to say!!! There are all types of gangs with many different people in them. Its not a race thing. Now to answering your question....... To be in a gang you gotta have a certain attitude, beliefs etc. so no, they dont just let anyone in a gang. You gotta prove yourself first. I hope u not planning on getting in a gang though. Its really not a good idea.
