They get a limited amount of shipments in. Call the stores, such as Kmart, Walmart, etc. If they have any, get there early and get it.

Where you do live? If you provide a location, perhaps someone from that area might have walked into a store that has some Wii available for sale.

The best thing to do for stores like EB and Gamestop, where they sell the Wii as soon as it's available, is to go to the store every morning and stay there until all the packages are opened.

For stores like Best Buy or Target, go to the store 1 or 2 hours before it opens on Sunday, and see if they're still handing out tickets. If they are, hope that you get one of those tickets. If they're not, wait until it opens, then head to the gaming department and ask if any Wii are available.

If nothing works, just wait a few more months, and the Wii should be widely available. You've waited almost 4 months, so what's another 3 or 4 more months.
