I think you need to wait until you are completely sure that you are gay. You don't need to be in a rush to come out to people. Wait until you are ready.

First of all, how old are you? If you are at an age where you are able to go out and experience the gay scene (ie, clubs and stuff) go for that. There would be no doubt that anyone there was gay! But on a more serious note, that is something that you can't hide from your parents for too long. If they are totally against the thought, it will be tough to talk to them, but you are their son, and maybe that will open their eyes and overall outlook towards gays. Good luck with everything. I wish you the best.

HI,
I don't think a male who ISN'T gay would say that they are pretty sure they're gay! So be happy you are realizing who you truly are....gay pride is a wonderful sight to see!
Be patient and I think you'll know who is gay and who isn't. Also be patient and when you feel strong and ready, tell your parents. There is no guarantee that they'll like it or not....but that's their problem. and alot of people's problem. I agree...PFLAG may be a good resource for you to have the support you need for coming out. Hope it is a good coming out for you.

The sooner you come out the better off you'll be. DOn't wait until it's too late. You give no indication as to how old you are, so I am assuming at least 18. After that, you are an adult, and should live your life as such. It is nobody elses business who you are attracted to but your own, and if people don't respect who and what you are, then screw em.

on the initiating, how previous are you? once you're at an age the situation you're arranged to bypass out and journey the gay scene (ie, golf kit and stuff) bypass for that. There could pick to be little doubt that all of us there develop into gay! yet on a extra severe be conscious, it is a few element which you will no longer have the potential to cover out of your parents for too long. in the event that they're thoroughly unfavorable to the assumption, it particularly is going to likely be complicated to talk over with them, yet you're their son, and maybe which will open their eyes and standard outlook in process gays. stable fulfillment with each element. i pick you the right.

Well.. there are the guys who... you just know. Like Jack off of Will and Grace. Other guys you can feel them out with eye contact. If you look at them and you catch them looking at you every few seconds, they might be gay.

As for your parents... some people wait until they are out of school/college so they don't have to worry about their parents cutting them off... but, you'll know the right time for you when you should say something to them.

I would get your parents more up to speed on gay rights on issues before you say anything. There are many personal sites you can go to to find a bf who is sensitive to you not being out

You know what buddy, being gay makes things alot harder for you, your parents, and your butthole. I suggest you look deeper into yourself (not literaly) and find out if your really gay or not. Alot of teens are confused at this time. Maybe you have mistaken freindly emotions for sexual ones. Maybe you actually are gay, or Bi. These are very important lifestyle choices that only you can answer. So basically, dont tell your parents that your gay unless 100% sure. --sorry for the humor

Develop a back up plan for where you will go if things become uncomfortable first. Then, yes--- come on out. It's wonderful here. PFlag is really excellent at helping young people do this safely.
