guitar amp input what kind of cord do i need ???

i bought a guitar amp from a pawn shop and it did'nt come with any cords i was just wondering what kind of cord i need for the cd input ????

You can tell by looking. The bigger holes are quarter inch and the mini holes are eighth inch. Look on the device, or in your case the instrument. If it's a hole, you need a male connector to go with it. If it's a plug, you need a female connector to go with it. I'm going to guess it will be a quarter inch to a quarter inch, meaning a cord with a plug on each end.

Make sure your plug is stereo. Stereo plugs have one extra groove & stripe painted on.

If the amp is portable, I just take it to Radio Shack or the music store. I'm a woman, so I know they're going to argue with me if I ask for it by size. Instead I just show them the amp so they will skip the attitude.
