Well as the Religion of Satanism is relatively new (1966 - Church of Satan) and that Washington DC was planned in the 1700s, I don't see how it can be claimed to be Satanic.

Furthermore, considering that the Pentagram was used by Ancient Greeks and Ancient Romans, it seems to predate Satanism

Many of the Founding Fathers were Freemasons, NOT satanists. The pentagram symbol itself has a history that pre-dates satanism.

Nope. Although the INVERTED pentagram is now associated with satanism, it hasn't always been so and the UPRIGHT pentagram has never been associated with satanism.

The pentagram appears in many religions and also in Masonic tradition. Many of the founding fathers were Masons.

The Pentagon is the shape of a building, which used to be the Army headquarters and later became the head office of the Department of Defense.

The plan of Washngton D. C. as a whole is NOT a pentagon, but is generally circular with major spokes, for example Pennsylvania Avenue running from the White House to the Capitol building. It was an advanced design reflecting the elegance of French geometric planning.
