I mean some of them are in there for life anyway, right? So why don't we just sent them over there to do the dirty work that they already know, or have done?

Because if I'm some poor shlub from South Dakota the last thing I want to see beside me is Jeffrey Dahmer with a gun.

It violates the Constitution (not that that seems to bother many people, especially those in power, but still).

And what would you expect them to do there?

Fight for a country that has brutalized them?

Taking for granted,we cant simply allow them to fight for a nation. perhaps they're in the cell for acting against the country's law and order.
