If I were to choreograph to that song I would make it a modern dance. All modern dances involve some ballet technique, but just more free spirited and not so "follow-by-the-rule" like. Make it a free spirited dance and have lifts flying across the stage. It should turn out spectacular! Good luck.

um.. i'm not much one to say but listening to it now, it sounds like lyrical, which is a cross between jazz and ballet, it flows, and kind of like modern, it's just a blend of all those dance types together.... you can really use play with it, to learn more you can type it in in the google engine, but to start it you should probably start on stage, in a wide forth w/ ur head down, and look up when the music starts, do what you feel, and if it's ballet, so be it, just add in that extra ting of flow-eness and you'll be fine!

i would start it in the left front corner on the ground and slowly rise until it gets to the bit where the drums come in then take it into a turning jetaye (leap) travailing back to the opposite corner from what you just came then keep turning till you reach that corner. hope it helps starting your dance good luck

I agree with your friend and I would most certainly throw some jazz in it to spice it into a different direction, then lead it back to the origin.
