Briere is a Center. They don't put position on a jersey.

C stands for Captain
A stands for Alternate Captain

Briere plays some games as Captain and some games as Alternate.

Briere is a center. The C on the hockey jersey means captain. The A means alternative captain.

NHL.co does have them. you have to go to personalized jerseys to get it, but you can get any jersey.

he's a center I believe, and the A is an alternate captain.

select the player, and a C or an A if applicable. (you want an A)

he is center but that isnt on the jersey. go to nhl.com and click the personalize thing. you want the C for captain. the sabres have 2 captains (briere and drury) but only one of them can be captain in any game so they alternate. therfore you will sometimes see him wearing the A and sometimes the C. but the A is for alternate which really only applies to teppo numminen (he is always the alternate captain) trust me im the biggest briere fan you want the C

I think Daniel is aleft wing, A on the sweater stands for alternate as the captain can't skate every shift. The alternate is the designated player who can confer with the ref when the captain is off the ice. Each team is allowed one captain and two alternates. I think the Coyoties team shop still has some of Daniel's sweaters! Just kidding. Good luck!!!!!!

What they said and Buffalo doesn't have a C-just alternates I believe. Also, wait until after he signs with the Flyers in the off-season and then get that jersey for 75% off.
