Only fell in love once aged 15 and we are still in love at 56. Many mistake lust/crush for love. This won't last. You will know when it is real when you have to keep washing out the bath, picking up his dirty socks, putting the toothpast lid on again and the million and one irritating things he/she does but they don't matter. You find you are listening for the door opening and when he/she walks in the door your day gets brighter and a smile lights your face because you are happy to see them.

It is always the first time in love, and there is no end. We can never fall in love twice. It is only that we do not realise we have been in love all the way along. We live dormant for years with love slumbering in our bosoms until someone come along to wake us all up, to make us realise what life could be in love. It is as if our eyes go shut and then suddenly as we hear some beautiful voice we open them again to find that the light of the moon, the sun, the stars, blossom of flowers, happy children, vales and meadows and rivers, this world, the entire universe is still there as it once was, just as once we left behind. If WE go missing in life then this does not mean love has gone out of life, life that we are always in, it just went temporarily out of our sight. Upon waking up we might find love in new forms, but it is always there, even before the time we first realised that we are in love. I think we should be careful about what we sometimes end up believing into in the darker periods of disbelief.

yes... with my hubby.... Been with him since I was 15!!! Just passed our 21st going together anniversary!!!
Don't know how he puts up with me!!!
