or do you welcome surprise? I changed my mind after yesterday, I thought it was the worst thing that ever happened to me, but It turns out to be the best thing that ever happened to me. But their maybe other people who are in for a BIG surprise at my ex-employer, and this makes me feel better. :)

I am at the age of life where a surprise is almost guaranteed not to be a good thing.
Having said that I have been thru many situations that started out bad and ended up turning out good.
(There is an old Chinese proverb that goes something like, "May you live in interesting times." Its supposed to be an insult.)

I don't hate the unexpected unless it turns out to be bad. And if you expect the unexpected like you are warned to do, doesn't it just make it the expected?

Sometimes I hate it and sometimes I like it. I hate when bad things happen unexpectedly, but would love if I won the lottery or hit a huge jack pot in Vegas unexpectedly.
