I am not feeling any energy from the others who answered you so far. I never liked the name "psychic". As I read Alejandro's name it took my breath away. That is an indication that your feeling for him is true and real. I also feel your sadness because it is not going to be reciprocated. He likes you because you are fun, but he doesn't share YOUR feelings.

I am not a psychic but I hope you listen to me: You CAN MARRY a second cousin! You can call a priest and not give your name, and just ask that. If you're afraid to ask a priest even though you are doing nothing wrong, call city hall or town hall. They perform marriages there and they will tell you the answer, ok? It's only the 1st cousins you can't be with.

It is not wrong to like your second cousin. I recently saw a show on Dr. Phil about two cousins dating. They were engaged to be married. In some states in the US it is legal to marry your cousin. However, I get the feeling that he is two years younger than you and that he really is not as serious as you are. He is not exactly sharing your feelings on the deep level that you are. I feel that he is flattered and confused about your attention towards him, but maybe he is only slightly attracted to the forbidden element. I also don't feel that he is not as mature as you and I think in about one year you will forget all about him and wonder what you ever saw in him.

i'm feeling he likes you but he is confused if it a like that is wrong or a like that is ok for 2nd cousins. You also need to think about this. I do not see it working out for fear of ridicule from others and a great amount of stress you would have in this relationship. It would leave you no time to be happy....Think about this wisely.

Chances are he does not like you. Dating cousins, even second cousins, is taboo in our society. Even if he finds you attractive and has feelings for you, this is probably not strong enough to over the social stigma, let alone family stigma, that he would feel from pursuing those feelings. There are roughly 65,000,000,000 in the world; there is someone else out there for you.

but just fyi, you and your second cousin are very genetically separate, so that's not an issue.
