Yes, the whole series is really good. The movie is as well, although it skips a ton of stuff from the series. The series consists of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", "The Restaurant at the End of the Universe", "Life, the Universe, and Everything", "So Long and Thanks for All the Fish", and "Mostly Harmless". I might have the third and fourth out of order there.

Heck yes! It's wonderful! There's a really big edition (it kind of looks like a Bible) that has the Hitchhiker's Guide in addition to 4 other novels AND a story as well. Douglas Adams rocks! If you don't feel like reading it, it began as a radio show and was just recently made into a movie!

Yes, it is actually "Hitchhikers GUIDE to the Galaxy."
It is a one of a kind funny science fiction book. It is a classic so READ IT!

Yes, and the rest of series. They are pretty good books.
If like Hitchhiker's be sure to read "Red Dwarf" and the next "Red Dwarf: Better than Life" by Grant Naylor. I personally like it better than Hitchhiker's.

Yes. I thought it was a childish book. But many people I know have enjoyed it. I guess it just depends on your taste.

yes. It's nice. there's the bbc radio version which is also nice but the movie version stinks.
