haha, sorry, I just had to. Locally we're at the beginning of a 16 day "please send us money" campaign.
I *briefly* worked at a college radio station and they couldn't have "advertisements" but could have "underwriting". It's the same thing really, just not as in your face. Also, many charity organizations will contribute/donate to PBS. The Ananburg CPT Organization (or something like that) seems to be a huge PBS supporter, as well as several others.
