I'm writing a story and I'm looking for an idea for a character. I am looking for a race of being or type of person(I mean like a shaman for example) that fights with magical powers or uses the powers of Good. Please, no cliche's like a wizard or something like that. I need a name of something. Such as in the anime series the main character is a Crusnik, which in the story is a person infected with the intelligent crusnik nanomachine who feeds on vampires(who have a less powerful version of the crusnik in their blood). A crusnik is a shamanistic warrior that fights vampires with powers of Good. I'm looking for something like that.

A young child whose voice can only be heard by Lupines and gnomes. Does battle with those who would destroy a mountain to build a castle with it's gold threaded stone.

You could make the character a Troubadour. In the Middle Ages these were French Knights who took up music and poetry instead of fighting. They often entertained at court, wrote romances, etc.

In Celtic culture such a person would be a Bard.

This character has magical powers and is able e.g. to write poems or songs that come true when he recites them, or find lost people by singing about them, or divine the future, or others' secrets, etc.

Just an idea.

here is my suggestion,, just start writing down what comes into your mind, don't think about you have seen... use your own imagination. try it,a name will come as you go along, after all if you don't know what he or she can do, what good is the name...good luck...
