Since you obviously are not going to wait for marriage to do the deed, who cares who takes your virginity?

noooooo. Be proud that you are a virgin. I'm not sure whether you are male or female so I'll give you advice for each.
FEMALE- don't break 'it' that way. Just wait because random guys are everywhere and we all 'fall in love' at least once or twice before meeting 'the one'. The last thing you need is to waste your virginity on some guy whom you probably won't be with next year. Much less, lose it to a dildo just to keep up with a lie that you told your bf. Think about it.
MALE- well, you don't have a hymen but in any case your virginity should be lost to someone you care about and not some toy. If you really feel like he maybe someone you would consider marrying then tell him the truth. He'll either want to have the honors or he'll respect you and will avoid intercourse. Either way the truth will set you free.

Your boy is probably still sporting his V card as well. According to some of my friends you can't lose your virginity to a dildo (I don't actually believe that). If you do use the dildo before you have sex with the boy, you might find the sex with him a little better. I say this because you won't have the pain of being stretched for the first time and you'll have a better idea of what to expect so it won't be quite as scary. In any case, if you're willing to have sex with this boy, then you should be open and honest enough with him to tell him that you've never had sex with anyone before. Because I promise he'll love the idea of being your first.

Why would you lie to someone your about to have sex with for the first time? It doesnt make much since to me, be honest with yourself and your partner! (Yes, its dumb not just the dildo part, but the entire situation)

You can't lose your virginity to a dildo. The only way to lose your virginity is to have a penis inside your vagina. Your hymen does not determine your virginity. >.>
