b) The most abundant is nitrogen.
Earth´s atmosphere contains 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, 0.93% argon and 0.04% carbon dioxide and traces of others. Depending of many factors it also contains 3 % water vapour. All these together makes the "air". It protects the Earth from solar radiation (U. V. rays, heat, cosmic rays, etc.).

nitrogen is the most abdunant gas in our atmosphere it makes up 78% percent of the gas in our air and oxygen makes up about 21% the other gases make up about 1%.
