:( Wish I knew, and hope soon the injustice is stopped. All adults who prey on minors should be jailed for a long time.

Because they're much more lenient to women especially pretty, blond, white ones. Look at Debra Lafave. She was screwing her teenage male student and she got a slap on the wrist. If it was a man he would have went to prison. I think it may have something to do with people still having the perception that females are sexual victims and males are the aggressors. I think it's outrageous. Women should be held to the same standards, and take responsibility for their actions, as men. Watch these two "Barbie Bandits" will get probation whereas if two men did the same thing they'd get 10-15 years in prison.

I agree, but it's a sexist society and the courts/public see it as less harmful to a male. Women frequently get lesser sentences for a lot of crimes, with the exception of murdering their husbands.

Hmm, don't recall many of the recent cases where the women get off. As far as I know most adult women that have been charged have been convicted.

Actually, that is not true. Women are prosecuted also. My partner worked at a major child-rights advocacy law firm, and they went after plenty of sick women.
