one of my best freinds is frekin huge and can almost dunk it when hes only 12

It's very tall, but I wouldn't say it's too tall.
A softball teammate I had in 5th grade was 6'2" -- she was 11!
Needless to say, she was our first baseman. I hardly ever had an overthrow :)

No you are not too tall. Neither is your friend. I hope you both like basketball and are good at it. Basketball can help you achieve your dreams by helping to pay for college. If those dreams involve the NBA than you will need to practice every day and get better and better at your game. Do your homework, get good grades (the better your grades the better chance of getting into the college that you want) practice and practice some more. But the most important thing about playing basketball is remember it is a game and have fun. If it stops being fun then it is time to stop playing.

Yeah dude thats really tall for that age....but he is probably going to be even taller so he may be pro material later on in is life if he can play defense

He'd better be able to dribble because if he stops growing and only knows how to be a post guy he's in trouble.
I played against a guy like that a few years ago, his team won the championship in our league.

dude when I was in sixth I was 5'0" tall.I have a friend that was 5 7 in the sixth grade and I thout he was too tall.your friends a giant man.yeah he too tall.I hope he takes advantage of it.its a good thing though

yes, really tall. You can expect him to get near 7' later. He migth turn into a pro and be a dominant center.
