a guy works in development of a product, i believe it had something to do with microchips, and the boss makes changes to different things to try to frame this guy so the boss could get away with taking money. But when the company goes public the guy turns it around because he figured out he was getting framed and the boss gets caught. I think the company had some global name. I seen this movie on a cable network so I know its kind of an older movie and i believe it has a rather long title.

This isn't older, but Fun with Dick and Jane had a very similiar plot with Jim Carrey and his boss. In the end he turned it around on his boss so he ended up donating a lot of money to the people that he originally screwed over.

Sounds a lot like Scarface but Scarface had nothing to do with microchips. It was based on drugs and it is an old movie.
