Ok well i just had a baby and i breastfeed him but this is what he does:
When i hold it it pinches my breasts before drinking- like it's unusual and weird. it sometimes looks like he is humping it! he licks my nipples, and laughs when he bounces it up and down. and he it's like he wants to have a drink all the time!
is something wrong here?

Babies have no sex drive, they have no sexual desires, they have no sexual thoughts. They do things because they amuse them, comfort them etc.

The pinching is called "twiddling" google it and you will find a million references from both medical sites and personal sites. You can try to break him of it if it bothers you. I've tried on and off as sometimes it hurts. Not consistantly enough for it to work though.

Of course he licks your nipples and breasts, babies lick everything they can. And things that bounce are funny, balls, boobs, whatever.

Also breastmilk digests in 90 minutes OR LESS. If the first weeks babies nurse every hour, for an hour -or at least it seems that way. Generally it does slow down. But not always.

Your baby is not a pervert. I've never met a newborn that "laughs" at the breast, but my son (at 14 months) does it all the time. There is nothing sexual about breastfeeding, and I guarantee you that your child does not find anything sexual about it, either. Rather, he is playing the way any child plays with a beloved toy. To him, your breasts belong to him and they are a fun place to be. This is entirely NORMAL, especially with a nursing toddler, who is learning how to manipulate toys. Even newborns might lick nipples and many pinch or "knead" at the breast. In fact, this "kneading" is thought to help milk production. Ever watch a kitten nurse on its mother? They knead at the nipple, too. It's natural, it's instinctual, and it's normal. And if he wants to "have a drink" all the time, he's probably hungry, or possibly even going through a growth spurt.

While playing at the breast is normal for babies, it's not always behavior that you should allow (as in the case of pinching, scratching, or biting). You get to decide what is and isn't allowed, and there are gentle ways to teach your baby "nursing manners". Some mothers even wear a "nursing necklace" with big, bright beads on it to distract their babies from unwanted playing at the breast. I have provided some links that I hope will help.

It might be a good idea for you to contact your local La Leche League, too, and maybe attend a few meetings. It's a great way to connect with other breastfeeding mothers and get an idea of what to expect when nursing. And of course there will undoubtedly come a time at some point when you need some breastfeeding advice, and it's great to have some educated, free advice from a friendly face!

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any more breastfeeding questions or concerns; I'd love to help. Good luck!
