I follow what God tells me to do, to the best of my ability. I'll die for that, for Him, if I have to.

Yes, I only work 10-12 hrs a week in order to take care of my family. We moved to a more rural area so that my son could attend a better school and it is boring to me--but there is very little crime and we have a great house that we wouldn't be able to afford where we used to live.
My husband commutes now--but the move was his idea.
I believe you sacrifice some of your own needs while your children are in school in order to make them great people. Being a good mother and wife truly is my #1 job.
I am good at it and I love the success it allows my son and husband to have.
I am NOT a martyr, I definitely do for myself and have plans for when my son is in college, but I feel that I can sacrifice certain luxuries in order to take care of the business at home
My marriage is great and my child is a teenager and we have a great relationship--I like him as well as love him, and I know he feels the same
We must be doing something right--by the way- my mother was the ONLY working mother in our neighborhood when I was growing up--she is a bit horrified at my choice.

Let me put it this way...I'm a stick-in-the-mud compared to most people.

Actually, I'm a fundamentalist Christian. I never really cared much what other people think.
