How much tension must a rope withstand if it is used to accelerate a 1046 kg car horizontally along a frictionless surface at 1.21 m/s2?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

force = mass * acceleration = 1265.66 N

I get 1531.4486 Newtons

1046 * (1.21)^2

yep the ans is 1265.66 N..the first guy's right
