Actually most are honest Cons on the other hand lie about their sex lives, their gambling habits, commit adultery, have more divorces than liberals etc

Of course.
We're interested in facts and we're not afraid of new and different things.
We don't limit ourselves to reading or listening to things that only reinforce our own point of view. We want the whole picture. You can't make rational decisions or policy without it.
And, most of us started out as conservatives and became educated enough to overcome it.

"Leak CIA agents to the press" honest?
"Abu Ghraib was just like college pranks" honest?

Yes I have a few liberal friends that are honest. I do have to correct them from time to time to keep em honest but .. yea a few.

I am a liberal and I try very hard to be honest, especially to myself. No hiding behind rules and theologies, just thought and prayer.
