I agree with the post that said to wait tables. Get a gig at a fine dining restaurant and work dinners on Friday/Saturday nights (and any other dinner shifts that you can) when the bills are higher---thus the tips are better. You will be juggling many tables and kissing a lot of butt, I will not lie--it is hard work. But you can easily average $30 an hour or more at a BUSY upscale restaurant. Why? Because at a good place the patrons who get to know you will usually pay 20% or more of the bill as a tip to you. Multiply that by several tables per hour. Even if you have to payout a busboy and bartender, it is still great money for your age. Quick cash.
I worked at a fancy place years ago when I was 22 and I always was tipped 20% or more of the bill.

That's kinda a loaded question. I ask the question: Where are you willing to start and how long are you willing to stay? What you do and how much you make are really personal choices. I know a guy who dropped out of school in the eight grade and is now a multi-millionaire through sheer hard work and good investments and all he dose now is sell comic books in a flea market stall (because that's what he wants to do.) I know another guy who has a master's degree in electrical engineering who still lives with his parents because he can't keep a job ... because he's a lazy puke who wants the money handed to him without actually having to do do anything.
Those are just examples of what you can do if you try...or don't.

Probably not much more than you were making at starbucks to be quite frank. if you were there for over a year, you will have a better chance of landing something that is legitimate, but like all jobs you have to work your way up.

Try to get a job at your college. That way, you'll get help with your tuition (or you'll get it even for free) and you'll also have health and other benefits (401K). And you'll get some real experience to put on your resume.
