Carson Palmer, without a doubt. Palmer doesnt have the defensive support and overall help around him that Rivers has. Rivers has the best RB in the NFL right now on his side.

Carson Palmer is better skill wise, but Rivers has more talent surrounding him and may play better than palmer this year because of that.

Palmer will always be a better QB. Rivers will be babied for too long and will suffer in the middle of his career because of it. Palmer will take the game into his hands in order to see success. whether that means calling out team mates or just playing well in high pressure situations where he is basically in control on his own. Rivers will expect his coaches to tell him what to do and how to do it and he will not take responsibility of his team and his on-field mistakes. but he will still be successful in terms of NFL quarterbacks. Palmer is better.

Rivers is better than Palmer. Rivers has been a starter in the league for one year and put up great numbers. Currently their numbers are identical. But he doesn't have the receivers that Palmer does and now that Norv Turner will be coaching him he'll only get better.

Palmer is leagues above Rivers. Just think if Palmer had LT on his team, that would be insane! All Rivers has to do is hand the ball to Tomlinson and throw it every now and then.

Palmer for sure, him and Peyton are the only two guys with pin point accuracy, example is the probowl touchdown to reggie wayne. Plus Rivers will not have as productive year as he did, it was a fluke and that will be his season highs. Palmer will have 4000 yard seasons like he is playing a video game. Definetely Palmer.

Very good question. Right now, Palmer, but Rivers could catch up.

i think palmer is better right now mostly because of ability and longevity...rivers has only played significant time for one season and had his RB set the TD record for a single season on top of that, so his numbers were inflated in my opinion, but we'll have to see as his career develops...palmer has been putting up big numbers for a couple years now, so he has proven himself to be a top commodity
