I don't believe all sources are biased in the same way. CNN, ABC, and CBS do indeed present material that some conservatives believe is presented with a slant. However, Fox, in contrast, deliberately omits information - facts, actually - that would render their stories on a par with CNN, ABC, or CBS. In other words, Fox manages its news gathering and reporting process from an editorial-first perspective, and that is the difference. Roger Ailes, Fox's news chief, is an old Republican political hand from the Reagan-Bush 41 years. You won't find anyone in a leadership position in other wide media with that sort of an agenda. (Don't say Stephanopoulos or Matthews - they are hosts but not executives; and Russert, though he is an executive and worked for Cuomo, has been called an "easy mark" by Cheney's office and is assiduously non-partisan in his reporting.)

Just because both sets of channels are biased, doesn't mean they are EQUALLY biased.

The lies and distortions and bias of Fox (very well documented) are greater than the others.

Trouble is, for too long now, they've all been biased in the same direction -- pro-Bush administration.

It is to weep.

Better to get one's news from the net, preferably from a variety of sources, including international news sites.

I am glad you are a "guys". You are better off watching CNN, I would hate for you to actually believe that people should take responsibility for themselves. Hey, I have an idea. Did you know that almost 700,000 illegal Mexicans paid taxes using a Tax ID, well, sure you did. What you didn't hear is that is 3 percent of them. That is not even a close to a good story. Keep letting the welfare pushers choose your words.

Amen Sambucca. Personally a Fox guy here, but I would gladly switch if anybody just offered the news with no slant at all.
