Hey guys,
Was just wondering whether anyone can share how long it took to get pregnant after coming off the pill. I was only on it for about 6 months and am curious whether it will take my body a while to adjust. I have had one fairly normal period since coming off and it's been about two months since I stopped. My last pregnancy only took about 3-4 months to conceive after coming off pill. Anyone like to share their thoughts?

I got preg right away after going off the pill, stopped taking the pill the 1st week of Dec. conceived a few weeks later. Now i am 12 1/2 wks preggers! Good luck!

After comming off the pill, it took me 11 months to conceive my first pregnancy. But, I have a touch of endometriosis and cysts on my right ovarie that have never bothered me. My husband and I weren't expecting or planning on getting pregnant, it just happened. We just wanted to see how long it would take us and we got prengant. I was never happier. I miscarried in November of last year and believe that God has other plans and that it wasn't my time. We are doing great right now and feel that it won't take as long this time. We aren't trying right now or planning on getting pregnant. It is all in God's hand right now. Thanks for this by the way. It helps to talk about it.

I wasn't on the pill but i had been on the depo shot for 3 1/2 years and once i stopped taking it i became pregnant in 11 months.

It took us 6 years for us to have our first. This is only because the depo hormones didn't leave my body for 2-3 years and I have hypothyroidism which delayed it een longer. A average is supposed to be around 6 months to a year, but some take longer.

I went off the pill in February and used a backup methood until we started trying in September. I got pregnant that month. My periods were pretty regular after coming off of it, but before I went on it they were not.

I was one the pills for about 5 yrs. We went off the pill about two years ago and we are still trying. God always has a plan.

It took me about four months to get pregnant went I got off the pill. They say once you stop taking birth control your susceptible at anytime there after to get pregnant. Good Luck!!!

first I didnt try.
second took 9 months after coming off pill.
third didnt try and were twins.
fourth.. didnt try
fifth.. didnt try either..

1st time -- 6 months (3 years on birth control, off 3 months before trying)
2nd time -- 2 months (no birth control between kids ... just nursing)
