besides her being black, even though she had a white mom, besides not being a particular height, the 5 foot 7 inch women who would get the parts that she should have gotten because the bill asked of her,then there is the thing about her mom marring a black man that was considered blaspheme in the time that the two of them got together,her battle started at birth the day she was born was the day she begin to fight. now that was her life let us get into the job she chose, she chose to work as an actress one of the hardest jobs in the world for anyone never the less a black person, television and movies have been around for several years and you expect people to believe that it took nearly forty years for a black person to get a Oscar, Tony or any of the other awards that's given out to actors i don't think so. look at the time between when Sidney Portie got his Oscar, think about all the moves that he has been in before he got it. check out the moves he has don't and tell me that he was not a good actor in his younger days. i don't know the names of all the moves but my favorite is the one where he is a doctor. on of the first black doctors known in the doctors world. these are some of the thing that a man had to go throw and you would think when one door was open and walked through that the next would not have to fight to get through that same door, but she had to fight harder than a man because she was a woman.

The rumors state that Wesley Snapes hit her in the head when they were dating and that's how she lost it. Other's sat her ex hubby David Justice did it. While still others say Actor/ singer Christopher Williams did it.
