Zodiac's headaches?

I watched a clip from the new Zodiac movie about him being on a show and saying how his head hurt after he killed a boy. For some reason I found that really interesting and looked it up. Apparently the Zodiac did suffer from painful headaches. Why was this? Is it a condition or something?

It is probably a result of blood/adrenaline going to his head after killing.

This is common for people who tend to do evil things, including killing.
