Do I put in the CD that it came with? I don't have an XP cd seperately, but it says that "The Restore DVD...gives a complete backup of the software that was preinstalled in the PC at the factory..." It came with XP, so will this work? I'm not ready to do it yet because I have some more backing up to do, but how do I do it? Just stick the CD in and restart? I'm computer stupid. lol.

basically, just put in the cd, restart the computer and follow the directions.
It'll put everything back on the computer just like it was when you bought it.
You won't have to activate windows, but you will have to download all of the Windows updates again.

Just insert the CD and restore program will automatically load and restore your computer as to where it was when you bought it (Yes, even XP);

Just remember that sometimes these programs wipe your computer clean before they re-install everything, so MAKE SURE THAT YOU BACKUP YOUR DATA before hand.

Another heads up is that you'll probably have to re-activate windows; don't be intimidated by this; it's really easy to do but you'll probably have to call Microsoft's 800 number to do it.
