My husband and I are trying to get pregnant. We've had a miscarriage in Nov. My doctor was very surprised that I even got pregnant because he believes that I have pcos. I have an appt with my doctor tomorrow. Has anyone ever used Clomid or any other med to help them ovulate?

I also have endometriosis but I don't think that it is actually playing a part in not being able to get pregnant. I actually haven't had any problems with it. This was my second miscarriage. I haven't been to a specialist for this. I only see my gyno (specializing in high risk/infertily) He really didn't think I could get pregnant and then I did. He told my husband that he doesn't believe that I would have any trouble carrying a baby, it's the getting pregnant that is the problem. I'm going to see him to discuss all of our options.

i did one round and it completely screwed up my cycle because i ovulate at the end of my period on a normal 28 day cycle instead of around 12-14 days after. i became pregnant, but from it screwing me up so bad i miscarried. make sure you know all the risks of taking it also, it has a very high multiple birth chance.

I have used clomid successfully in the past and I am on clomid now, as we are trying to have another baby.

I too had 2 miscarriages and after trying naturally to fall pregnant for years went to see a specialist. I do not ovulate all the time.

Your specialist will run a lot of tests on you to pin point a problem then when clomid is prescribed thay will start you off on a low dose. You will have a bloodtest on around day 21 to see if you ovulate. If you don't they will increase the dose.

I was told I could have 6 cycles on clomid and fell pregnant on the 6th. After ten years of trying i have a beautiful boy who is now 2.

If you need anyone to talk to feel free to email me, it can be very stressful going through this and it is important to have supportive people around. You may find some people don't understand how you are feeling so it is good to have someone to chat with.

Good Luck,
