I ask about abortion only because I want to get INFORMATION and make KNOWLEDGEABLE decisions in the future. Then why the **** do you get all judgemental about me and blame me for asking questions about abortion? Isn't Yahoo Answers intended to be a place where people can exchange views and debate intelligently and gain information about a topic. If you feel uncomfortable about a topic, then kindly KEEP AWAY from it. Don't interfere in a person 's quest for knowledge just because you feel uncomfortable with it.
Besides, the reason why I post the same question in different boards is because of the stupid Yahoo Answers system which won't for some reason show my question on the board. So, that is why I post the question in more than one board ok, it's not my fascination or ego for getting lot of responses, it's for a valid reason.

I posted my question on the forum to get educated opinions about abortion, NOT emotional opinions. That is why I said if you don't like my question, just give a thumbs down and ignore it - but please don't respond provocatively.

Besides, when you are new to an area, don't you always ask for people's educated opinions to gain knowledge about it? I agree that people can get emotional about it, but they have to learn to control their emotions and realize that the person wants their opinions only to seek information. Yes, I also post technical questions looking for logical answers. But opinionated questions are part of a human's learning process.

Whether it is here, or the real world, people are going to have their opinions and when you put yourself out there, you are going to hear their opinions.
What I want to know is why (and this is NOT geared towards you, I haven't even read your question) people that ask questions get their panties in a bunch when they don't hear what they WANT to hear. Some people have a strong opinion and if you post a question you have to know that you may run across people like that. No skin of your (not YOUR, just askers in general) nose. Take it with a grain of salt.

Your original questions really didn't indicate you were looking for information - when you ask a question on an emotive issue like abortion, and you ask people "do you think it is murder?" what did you think they were going to say?
A forum relating to pregnancy, where women are clearly asking questions about being pregnant, is probably not the most sensitive place to put in a question like this.
If you had asked about the practical side of the issue eg: how are abortions performed, who performs them, where do they perform them etc then you would have got information.
When you ask for people's opinion - asking them what they think of something - then that's what you will get - opinions, and with an issue like abortion, highly emotional ones.
If you don't want opinions, if you don't want judgement, then don't ask for people's opinions and don't ask people to judge.
If you want information, then ask for information.

Sorry, but I don't buy your statement that you are looking for information. You appear to be asking for people's opinions on what you must know is a highly emotional topic. It is disingenuous to appear surprised that people react with strong emotions.

I agree.... it is a touchy subject but that doesn't give people the right to abuse someone for asking a question and trying to make an educated choice!

Some people are very closed minded and aren't open to other people's ways of living or even just conversation. Abortion is so cruel to some that if they just see the word they get all mad. I wouldn't take offense, you don't even know these people...if it is concerning you, however...please carefully think it threw!

Ahhhh I feel ya. People say rude things no matter what your question is. Seriously, no matter what you're question is there is always someone who's either a jerk or just having a bad day who has to get nasty with you. Just ignore it.
Pay attention to good answers and ignore the ignorant people out there.

some people are stuck on one thing and what they think is right is what they believe everyone should think... which is VERY wrong. Some of us on here are not judgmental.
