I've had this cyst in my wrist for almost 6 months (from when I first noticed it). I went to the doctor he said give it time, but from what I understand it's possible cysts can call your wrist home for quite some time. I just recently began getting a pain in my wrist, nothing severe, just uncomfortable. Would it be wise to bust it using a hard book? Also, how painful is it to bust it using this method?

I forgot to mention that it always appears to be the same size each and every day. I know for some people they tend to grow and shrink on certain days, but mine just stays the same

Wow, I never heard of it being called the Bible method. I've had a ganglion cyst before and if you hit it on something it ruptures and HURTS. It can also grow back. The only way to assure it won't grow back is to have surgery to remove the sac. I'd check it out with an orthopedic doctor who specializes in the hand and wrist. That's the type of doctor who removed mine several years ago and it has never come back.

I busted mine with a small hard book placed over it and then I hit the book with a hammer. With that said, "it did hurt, but only for a second". I also felt another small knot under the one that I burst. Long story short, years later, I have a second one.

I did the Bible Method. It saved me time and the trouble of surgery. I had to do it two or three times and it has never returned since.
