I think the meaning of life is how you conduct yourself and relate to other people. I think this because I believe in reincarnation, but not the stereo heaven and hell type of thing. I believe, as with most things in nature, you are recycled, or born again. I believe we create our own heaven or hell in the life we lead and in your next life you will pay for the way you live this one. Your freedom of choice is is the basis and the decisions you make with that freedom will reflect in your next recycling/rebirth. For instance if you choose to be a racist and demean and harm innocent people through that choice, you may return as one of the people that you harmed and find out what it is like to be on the receiving end of the kind of things you put them through. I also think you are given the chance to redeem your past mistakes by the way you react to the disasters that come upon us all at one point or another. How many times have you heard someone say "Why me, what have I done to deserve this". It may actually lie in what you did before in your past life.

So the universe can know itself. Makes the most sence to me. It doesn't matter if it's not good enough for you because remember, the meaning of life is irrelevant as long as there is a will to live! So you shouldn't worry and wonder why you're here and just enjoy living!

Read "The Outsider", or, if you speak French, the original version of it "L'Ãtranger" by ALbert Camus. It's about a man who's entire outlook on life is that there is NO meaning to life. Nothing is of value, and nothing matters, because you're just living to live.

Jean Paul Sartre claims that man is a useless passion. However, I think that Sartre is guilty of bad faith. Life does have a meaning and that meaning is eternal. Our end in life is to worship God and serve him forever. See Ecclesiastes 12:13.

i've decided that the meaning to life is that there is no meaning to life. the sooner we accept that the sooner we can enjoy life and stop questioning its existence

to worship God in all we have and do and learn and live.that is why we live. that is why we are here on this earth. so that God could have a multitude of men and women that have willingly chosen to love him and follow him and worship him.
that is the meaning of life. no questions asked.
but for those who don't believe, i think the question is: Where did God Come from?

As far as I can tell, there isn't any obvious meaning to life, so to me, the main aim of being on this planet is just to try and enjoy yourself as much as you can.
That's it.

Life has many meanings that only God can pinpoint. God knows the meaning, we are here to live for that meaning....whatever it is.
